Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of Packshot for Shopify (the "App"), operated by Réaumur SAS ("we", "us", or "our"). By installing or using the App, you agree to these Terms.

1. Description of Service

Packshot for Shopify is a Shopify application that uses artificial intelligence to automatically retouch product images into professional packshot-style photos with white backgrounds. The App integrates with your Shopify store to read product images and replace them with retouched versions upon your explicit approval.

2. Account and Credits

New users receive 5 free retouching credits upon installation.
Additional credits can be purchased through the in-app pricing plans.
Credits are non-refundable once consumed.
Credits do not expire as long as your account remains active.
You may use your own AI API key (BYOK) to process retouches without consuming credits.

3. Acceptable Use

You agree to use the App only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. You must not:

Use the App to process images you do not own or have rights to
Attempt to reverse engineer, copy, or redistribute the App
Use the App in any way that could damage or overload our infrastructure
Circumvent usage limits or credit systems

4. Image Processing and Ownership

You retain full ownership of your original and retouched images. By using the App, you grant us a limited, temporary license to process your images solely for the purpose of providing the retouching service. We do not claim any ownership over your images.

Original images are preserved in your Shopify Media files upon replacement. We are not responsible for any image quality issues resulting from AI processing.

5. Service Availability

We strive to maintain high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. We are not liable for any losses resulting from service downtime, AI processing errors, or integration issues with Shopify or third-party AI providers.

6. Payments and Refunds

Payments are processed through Shopify's billing system. Credits are consumed when a retouching job is successfully completed. If a retouching job fails, credits are not consumed. We offer 3 free retry attempts per successful generation. Refund requests are evaluated on a case-by-case basis — contact us within 7 days of purchase.

7. Termination

You may uninstall the App at any time from your Shopify admin. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate access to the App for violations of these Terms. Upon termination, your data will be deleted within 30 days.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Réaumur SAS shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the App, including but not limited to loss of data, loss of revenue, or image quality issues.

9. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.

10. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of France. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Paris, France.
